I guess this is the part where I say who I am what this page is all about. I suppose that’s fair anough so here goes.

My name’s Matt and I live with my wife Anita and our soon to be adopted baby girl Katie. We live in Washington State and most of the time we really love living here. I work as a Youth Pastor and no doubt my adventures as a youth pastor will fill the pages here. I’ve been on the job for about fifteen months now and God has been really good. That’s not say there hasn’t been bumbs and such along the way. I’ve had my share. But all in all it’s a good gig.

I’m an avid baseball fan and while this isn’t a sports blog I’ll “muse” about our national game a lot. I’m also a book nerd and film geek as well so i’ll wax poetic about those subjects as well. And of course I’ll write about faith, God and other matters of import.

I love the written word and when I was young I dreamed of making my living as a writer and I suppose I still harbor that dream. In the end I guess this page is mostly about having an outlet for my writing. I hope you enjoy what you read here and will engage the topics and postings that stir your thinking or capture your heart. Feel free to comment i’m all about dialouge. I guess I’ll sign off now.
